A ceramic coating does not stop working overnight. It clogs. Road film, minerals and traffic grime build up on the surface and mask the coating’s hydrophobic properties, which is why beading fades. A proper maintenance wash removes that layer without abrasives or harsh chemicals, and a periodic boost adds a sacrificial layer that restores slickness and beading.

Paint protection film needs the same care plus attention to edges and a ban on abrasive polishes. We maintain vehicles coated or wrapped by any installer, and we tell you honestly how the protection is performing at each visit.

Every two to four weeks for a daily driver. Contaminants left on the surface longer than that can bond and reduce performance. A monthly maintenance visit keeps things simple.

Usually not. It is most likely clogged with road film and minerals. A decontamination wash and boost restores beading in most cases. If the coating has genuinely worn away we will tell you and discuss options.

We strongly advise against it. Brushes cause swirl marks in coatings and can lift film edges, and the harsh chemicals shorten the life of both. Touchless washes are less damaging but still leave a film that needs hand removal.
