About roof lining cleaningThe one surface you cannot scrub.
Roof linings are a thin fabric glued to a foam backing. Scrubbing hard or soaking them can dissolve the glue and leave the lining sagging, which is why most people leave a marked headliner alone. We clean it gently: a low-moisture foam cleaner, soft brushes and microfibre, worked in small sections and blotted dry so the backing never gets wet.
Every roof lining is assessed before we start. We tell you which marks are likely to lift completely and which may only lighten, so you know what to expect. The final price depends on the size of the vehicle and the condition of the lining.
- Hand marks, grime and general dullness
- Light smoke film and food or drink splashes
