Why ceramic coat?

Protection that works every day, not just on wash day.

Wax and sealants sit on top of the paint and wear off within weeks. A ceramic coating chemically bonds to the clear coat and cures into a hard, slick layer measured in years. It resists bird droppings, tree sap, road grime and UV fading, and because dirt cannot grip the surface your car stays cleaner for longer and washes off with far less effort. Fewer washes with less scrubbing also means fewer swirl marks over the life of the car.

The result you see is the paint underneath, so preparation is everything. Every coating we apply is preceded by full decontamination and the appropriate level of machine polishing, then applied panel by panel in our controlled workshop in Gordon and left to cure before the car is released.

Professional coatings are rated in years rather than months, with different tiers offering different durability. Real-world life depends on how the car is stored, washed and driven, which is why we include a maintenance schedule and an annual boost option.

No coating is scratch-proof. Ceramic adds a hard, slick layer that resists light marring and chemical etching, but it will not stop stone chips or deliberate scratches. For impact protection, see paint protection film.

It is the ideal time. New paint needs only light preparation, and the coating protects it from day one. We also coat wheels and glass on new cars for complete protection.

Use a pH-neutral shampoo, two buckets and a clean microfibre mitt, or bring it to us for a coating-safe hand wash. Avoid automatic brush washes and harsh degreasers. Our maintenance page explains the routine.

The preparation stage varies from a light enhancement on a new car to multi-stage correction on older paint, and you can choose the durability tier. After inspecting your car we give a fixed written quote.
